As dog owners who never want to go anywhere without Maggie and Rafi, we cannot imagine our guests having to leave their best friend behind, especially one who is so comforting and so much fun! Mar Vista is the ideal site for a getaway with your dog.

We have restored our twelve 1930s era cottages with dogs in mind to create an environment that is welcoming and comfortable -- always fresh, and cleaner than you will find anywhere. We installed hardwood floors and use washable cotton rugs and slipcovers so that our very diligent housekeepers can present the highest standards in a simple and uncluttered cottage interior.

Mar Vista's nine acres are your dog's playing field. We have other resident creatures in our Peaceable Kingdom -- Pygmy Goats Pygmalion and Higgins, Bunnies Larry and Oreo, and a parade of Hens o laying. If our creatures pose too much of a challenge to your dog's playful or prey-fulness, we may ask you to keep your dog on leash while at Mar Vista.
