Fall and Winter discounts are a win-win proposal. You get to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Mendocino Coast at its most dramatic and its most deserted time, at up to half the price!

The Fall is the best weather, and you get to enjoy those yummy orange vegetables and smiling sunflowers. The winter brings dramatic storms when cuddling by the fireplace has a special meaning.

FALL & WINTER DISCOUNTS November 1 to March 1, excluding holidays times, and significant days of celebration.

Weekends - 10% discount on Friday and Saturday nights

Weeknights - Monday through Thursdays - three nights for the price of two nights, or two nights for the price of one and a half nights!

Smoking Policy
In the spirit of our mission of sustainability all of Mar Vista is a non-smoking environment.
Minimum Stay
The minimum stay required is two nights, three nights during holiday periods.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum notice of two weeks for cancellation of reservations for non holidays, and one month for extended stays, minor holidays and significant days of celebration (i.e. Valentine’s Day, etc.).
Two months notice is required for all major holidays.
If a reservation is cancelled later than the minimum notice, the guest is charged for any nights that we held for them that cannot be rebooked.
Although we are sensitive to the reasons that may cause a late cancellation, we cannot make exceptions to this policy. We are a very small and remote establishment and our cottages are reserved well in advance.
