On the morning after our first day at Mar Vista, my eight year old son, who
is virtually addicted to television and video games at home, remarked, "Mom,
it would be awful if there was a TV here."

This is definitely the best home away from home in my opinion. It's great for my whole family! The stars are beautiful, I even saw a bat! It was so cute, the first I've ever seen one, wild and flying free. I'll never forget the sound it made. He or she was so cute when flying. The first time I arrived I was thinking oh great this going to be so boring. Mar Vista worked it's magic. By the next day I was having so much fun. But when it comes to the time to leave I always look to the next trip.

Case, our 5 1/2 year old boy, was a bit wary of staying in a cabin/cottage
("Mom, is it going to be clean & sparkling, or will the bathroom be
stinky?") Needless to say he was quite impressed with the "sparkliness'!
What a precious place . . . Claire, our 2 1/2 year old girl called it "our
doll house" all weekend, and every morning, awakened to the sun coming
through the windows, announcing to all, "It's a nice day!"
It was dark when we arrived, but our five year old son burst through the
front door and exclaimed "We're home! I want to live here forever and
ever!"

I went too the beach. When we went to the beach we took a lot of pictures. After we went to the beach we went back to the cibin. Then we went to the supermarket After that we got in our pajamas and we had dinner. Then we went to bed. Then the next day. We went to a lighthouse and we went 145. then we went on a short hike at the end we saw a beautiful ocean.

I got to see the sunset on the beach and I liked it because I saw a whale, and It was cool! And we climbed up some rocks and it was cool! And I liked our bed room because we had green on our beds and I like green. And we went to bowling ball beach and we saw the bowling balls in the water, and the sand to. And my family and friends.

The birds were cherping. We got to pet Rafi and Maggie. We made a fire and rosted marshmellows. Sam did not want any. Jordan got it perfect every time. Mine caught on fire 3 times. We went to a lot of beaches. Matthew got a lot of rocks. There were much more things but I have to go.
