Tom always wanted to be a “Gentleman Farmer”.  He tells folks that before Mar Vista he didn’t know what to do with a garden hose!  Well, Tom now has acquired a wealth of knowledge about animal husbandry and vegetable gardening, all of this to enhance your stay at Mar Vista with gregarious goats, rabbits hopping-to-it, free-ranging hens laying the tastiest eggs daily, and gardens full of greens, herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers!

As a guest at Mar Vista you are encouraged to self harvest and enjoy all, and this is included in the rate, imagine that — a locovore vacation – what a concept!  Just don't get Tom's goat.  He says that he wants everyone to get fed-up with Mar Vista.  And, now he may need to work more on the “gentleman” part.
